Forest Board Meeting, July 20, 2021 at 7pm
The Municipal Forest Board will be holding a regular meeting on July 20, 2021 at 7pm at Village Hall. The public is invited to attend.
Yellow Creek Stabilization of the Bluebell Trail Project
JUNE 20, 2023
- Work will begin to stabilize a section of Bluebell Trail.
- College Lane parking lot spaces will be reduced.
- There will be no parking in Butler Circle for the duration of the project.
- Portions of Bluebell Trail will have limited access during working hours.
- Project duration is expected to take two weeks.
Work is only along a section of Bluebell Trail, though materials must be transported along the trail by a front end loader.
Forest Improvements
- “Upcoming Projects” notices are posted at entrance kiosks.
- The old Tulip Tree footbridge has been razed and a new replacement bridge is under construction.
- Big Rock and Log Cabin Trails infrastructure and bog bridges will be improved or replaced during the Fall/Winter months.
Improvement projects made possible by 1/4 mill Poland Municipal Forest Levy and private donations.
Save Our Forest
Please stay on the trails at all times. Do not remove plants or flowers from the forest.
Save Our Water
Please do not dump trash or waste in the forest. All pet waste must be picked up and disposed of properly.
Save Our Earth
Please do not litter in the forest. All refuse must be disposed of in designated containers.
